I've been fairly under the weather for the last couple of months for reasons that my doctors at Norris couldn't determine.
After several CT scans and needle biopsies last week, they finally did determine why. My cancer has returned and I'm checking back into Norris tomorrow--not because of the cancer, per se, but because my bloodwork and kidney function was so far out-of-whack. They'd actually like me to check in today, but if you've ever tried to find someone to take care of two dogs, two cats, five goats and four chickens for an unspecified amount of time you can appreciate the difficulty in leaving with a few hours notice.
While I'm there getting stabilized and catching up on my daytime television viewing, we're going to talk with their urological oncologists about putting me on a new chemo clinical trial (since the last chemo didn't do the whole job it was paid for).
