I am going to have to leave this question for the guys to answer.  For females cystoscopy is not the ordeal it is for males.

Hi sara
Thanks for the answer. If that is the case then cystoscopy is the only way for survillence it means.
Is flexible cystoscopy less painful than normal cystoscopy? I mean is it less painful ?

My understanding of this test is that it is NOT necessarily meant to diagnose bladder cancer, but to suggest which patients who present with hematuria (blood in the urine) do NOT need to be given additional invasive ...ie, TURB....testing.  So it diagnoses non-bladder cancer patients.  It is relatively new and has recently been approved for this purpose by the FDA.

Hi
I come to know recently that there is a biomarker test called Cxbladder which is highly accurate in detecting the bladder cancer and extremely helpful and non invasive for patients who are under surveillance. Its a simple urine test.
Anyone has more information about it
Please share some insights
Thanks
