Not what I wanted to hear

I've gotta say it......having a biopsy done in an office is stupid. Why do you suppose there are so many upgrades...how on earth is a specialized uro/surgeon expected to get appropriate muscle tissue and clear margins if the patient is awake?

And a really top class surgeon has you up and out of there within a l/2 hour after the biopsy. Thats a top class surgeon.
so i'm cranky today.

Sara Anna, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I know how the waiting can be so un-nerving. I have also had several biopsys in the office. It is certainly the cauteriztion that makes me yelp:woohoo: But, I still prefere that to a whole day lost with outpatient surgery. Right after it is over (in the office) I get up, take a few deep breaths and get on with my day.

Yup I had that done once and never returned to that office again. Was scheduled as a cysto....big surprise.

Poor Sara

My husband allowed them to do the biopsy cauterization in the office during a cysto ONCE....and I guarantee there won't be a "twice".

He was also very uncomfortable afterwards.
