We met with a new Dr. yesterday for help with the lack of bladder control.
After sitting there for one hour we were called back but then the dr. really spent time going over Bob's records, first CT or bladder, checking him. He made the statement that Bob's bladder was really diseased when this was found and kept referring to the "bad prognosis"..
Bob had an ultra sound and we found out that he has no sensation in his bladder, he has been retaining a lot of fluid because of this. He was constantly going to the bathroom but could not empty his bladder. The dr. catherized Bob and we go back next week on Thursday for the nurse to remove the catherer. On Friday, we will see the Dr. and he will have another ultrasound to see if he just retains his fluids.
The Dr. said we would talk more then. He did not have much of a bedside manner but he was very thorough which is important to me. We were in there for 1 1/2 hours after he came in there to see Bob.
Things are not looking real good here now. Just had to tell you all the update.
Love and prayers for you all,
Clara
