Michael had his RC yesterday. The surgery lasted 3 hours. The surgeon was able to construct a neobladder. The only visible cancer was on one of the ureters, so the surgeon cut it back to a clean margin. We will get a complete pathology report in a week so we will know definitively by then if all the cancer is gone. FYI to anyone who is getting chemo before the RC - Michael says the chemo is worse than the surgery. I will keep you all posted. We should be here at Hopkins for about a week.
