In July I celebrated being cancer free 3 yrs.I am blessed. But during the last two years, I've had to deal with bladder stones and a fistula...not to worry, new viewers, I've heard less than 5% find themselves in my situation. Lucky me! Anyway, I am scheduled for surgery Tues. a.m....was told minimum of 3 hours and possibly 6+. What this means is, the doctors really don't know which procedure they will choose to go with until they open me up. I have two very awesome doctors...the original ones who put my Indy together, and I know all will be OK.
I'm thinking I am in this position because God wants me to live this experience and write about it on my website...goodness knows, I've looked for info. for months and came up with very little facts and data. I know it isn't as bad as an RC because they aren't taking out any original parts, but still I don't know what to expect in regard to recovery. When I find out, I will update my website to include my thoughts on this unusual situation. I know I am special (aren't we all) but I'm certain there are others who need to know what to expect. So that's my story and I'm stickin' with it. I would much appreicate your prayers.
Pat, I included your email on a list I gave my daughter and she will send out an update as soon as she knows...she just started a new job and will be at work but her brother or dad will call her and let her know how things went. Hugs to all,
