Hello Everyone!

Cyndi's surgery lasted about 3 1/2 hours. I spoke with her surgeon following the procedure and he indicated that everything went well. She was in recovery for a couple of hours and then moved to a room. She's resting at the moment and is expected to be in the hospital for the next several days.

Thanks to everyone for their thoughts, support, and prayers.

Hello Everyone!

Cynthia went into surgery at 8:00 a.m. (CT) at the University of Chicago hospital. Her surgeon believes that he can successfully remove the scar tissue from the ureter and re-attach it in a new location. The surgery is expected to last about three hours.

Please stay tuned for further updates.

Thank you.

Hi Cynthia, I sure hope the first procedure works and then everything will work out for you and you can just get back home.
Maybe there will be a mid winter thaw when your there , and it won't be to cold... we can all wish for warmer weather for you. Rocky
