Lost my taste for coffee

This happened to me too after my RC, in April. My surgery was followed by three months of chemotherapy during which time I occasionally had an iced coffee, but still couldn't stomach a cup of hot coffee. Only now, at the end of September, am I feeling back to normal and enjoying my favorite drink again. It's funny how coffee is so tied to our routines and part of our social life (at least for me). It's great to be able to savor a cup of coffee while enjoying the sounds of nature or while visiting with friends.

Sorry to hear that. Well the same thing happened to my Dad although I'm not sure why. Did you have any chemo or on any new meds? Finger's crossed you love of coffee returns soon Sara x

I'm a little over 4 weeks post op and the smell of my family's brewing coffee smells disgusting so I don't even want to pour a cup for myself. I normally love coffee. Has anyone else had avoidance with food/beverage after surgery? Is it my neobladder telling me coffee is not good for it?
Thanks, Sara
