Welcome,

1st, I just want confirm we are discussing a TURPT (prostate) vs a TURB (bladder) for a biopsy? As prostate cancers are generally slow growing compared to some bladder cancers, I am not sure I would  be too concerned. For my $$$, and my body, I would still want things done quicker as you are looking at 2  months. Perhaps someone else will have a different take.
DX 5/6/2008 TAG3 papillary tumor .5 CM in size. 2 TURBS followed by 6 instillations of BCG weekly with a second round of 6 after a 6 week wait.

Hello, my 78 year old husband was diagnosed on 3/22 and they scheduled him for surgery, but not until May 25 because they said they are booked until that time...Does that sound acceptable or should we go find another doctor? I can't imagine having cancer and a physician thinking that 2 months is ok to wait to find out anything.
