My URO always has a urine test not just for UTI but, also to do a cytology to check for any atypical cells.
DX 5/6/2008 TAG3 papillary tumor .5 CM in size. 2 TURBS followed by 6 instillations of BCG weekly with a second round of 6 after a 6 week wait.

I also always had a urine test at every visit to my urologist.

I have never had a urine check before cystoscopy, or indeed before TURB or BCG.Will ask my Uro why not at next appointment.

When I saw the title of your post, I almost had a stroke! I thought, "Oh no! Not her too!"


So maybe it is a matter of perspective right now but I am soooooo happy that there is this postponement in getting your all clear check and not anything more than that.

All my radar would be be off and it usually isn't. You are still all clear but there is a delay in the confirmation. I said so!

I'm hoping that the rarity of my deal will put me in the rare side of the survival charts too. Perspective. ;)
