It's really just a light dusting and looks more dramatic than it actually is, but still--it's snow!

Gordon, even "Zach country" gets cold occasionally.

These are the mountains behind my house.

Gordon,

These should warm you up. These are not my photos, but I edited them for a friend of mine. They were taken here at the Outer Banks about 15 miles from my home....

Your snow is pretty, but, I think I'd rather be here!!! :)

Gordon,

Wow, incredible.

We haven't seen snow in years here in NC. Looks like you got enough for everybody!!

Stay warm!

Rosemary,

The cabin is to the left of the last photo. Picture was taken in back of cabin. The snow slide off of the roof to add to the snow depth on the ground (about 3 foot on level). So there's about 4-5 foot of snow on the sides of the cabin. The new deck I build last spring is now under about 3 foot of snow.

Note pile where snow fell from roof. I must say we need the moisture so we are thankful for the snow fall. Next spring will bring great mushroom hunting!

I am working on attic hence plywood in front of front window.

Hope all is well with you. We leave Sunday for points south!
