This should help you out with your math.... ;)

I'm on Re-Induction; After TURBT #1, 6 Induction, then a clear Cystoscopy, then 3 Maintenance, then a Cyctscopy which revealed something, we performed TURBT #2 which came back as additional CIS.

So a re-Induction (6 more in a row) was called for by my Urologist.

TURBT Jan 2019; Diag: CIS
Induction BCG (Mar 19) /Maint BCG (Aug 19)
TURBT Nov 2019; Diag: CIS
Repeat Induction BCG - Jan 2020 Complete

Regor: Happy to hear you suffered no negative side effects from your most recent BCG treatment. That gives hope to me and others. Just curious, if your "induction" was a standard 6 treatments and the most recent Jan. 3 was re-induction (maintenance?) #4 (out of 6) then I'm puzzled how you arrive at "Re-Induction (#13 total)." I'd assume you've written #12 total (6 plus 6 reinduct) or #10 (6 prior plus 4 re-inducts in the bag already, so to speak). Granted, my math skills, like my memory, aren't what they used to be, if I remember correctly ;)

It makes one wonder if the body can build a tolerance that quick to something such as BCG.

Last week I completed my induction. While #2 and #3 produced quite the reaction, the negative side effects from #4 through #6 lessened considerably from one to the next. The last being similar to the first: some mild pain and discomfort.

Best to you. As they say in the deep south (of USA) BCG = Bladder Cancer Gitter

Latest update:

BCG #4 of 6 Re-Induction (#13 total) - Had treatment on Friday 3 January, 2020. A welcome ZERO side affects, which is very odd, considering the Cum side affects have hit me every time.

Hello Regor!

I just finished my second round today ( first round 6 treatments and second 3 treatments). I am now starting to feel the cumulative side effects as I go . Tiredness, low energy have been my two side effects. Have not dealt with fever so far

I agree that water intake following instillation is a MUST for me too; it is helping tremendously with frequency and pain while voiding.

Ginette
