As newly diagnosed Ta-CIS at age 64, I am highly encouraged, and appreciate hearing of this, and I know of four other men who can comment positively on the same success. Any such success is just so fantastic to hear. Two of the men I talk to are daily drinkers of a probiotic supplement. According to the Urology Care Foundation some decent evidence exists that it can help in reducing the reoccurrance of non-invasive bladder cancer.
Needless to say again, (though I will), thank you for sharing such positive news!

Diana that is a tough question. In 12 years he has had it all it seems. The most current was two and a half years ago having a turbst followed by BCG treatments. He's had that done several times in twelve years.

It's certainly an up and down life we lead with this disease but we enjoy every day we have and are thankful it hasn't gone any further yet.

God bless you and your family. It's an up and down hill all the way. Keep your faith.

Hello mtgirl,

Glad to hear your husband is doing well.

I wonder what treatments he has had, such as TURBT resection + BCG or just BCG?

My husband just diagnosed to have non-invasive CIS, and we hope to know if TURBT resection prior BCG is better than BCG alone.

Thanks,

Diana
