Hey Doc... a little birdie told me you had posted. I haven’t been around much either due to illness in my family and caretaking duties. The good part of your post is “a small tumor” was found. And now it’s outta there! That’s no small thing however, and I know it has worn you down over the years.

This month marks the 10th anniversary of my surgery at Vanderbilt. That is so hard to believe looking back on it now. I met so many wonderful and encouraging people on this forum that helped my mind heal from the constant worry. You were one of those. I hope you take the same encouragement from here as well.

I’m going for a scan and checkup in April at 18 months this time. Will post how that goes. Until then, hang in there! Let’s seeeee... do I remember how to do it?

3 SNAPS and around the world! (Yes, that’s it!) Take care!

Best wishes... Catherine

I been going T-1 high grade for 3 years now BCG & Gemzar and just made my 1st ever 6 months without tumors doing the 3 session maintenance Gemzar with scope every 3 months. Know this has been a physical and mental drain on me just within the 3 years can't imagine the drain on you over 15 years. I've learned to become almost schizophrenic by having 1 man in me be the normal go on with life fella then bring out the "let's go to doctor and deal with this crap" fella again when appointment times arrive. Trying to say I just sorta turn this off between sessions and not think about it else it drives ya nuts. What's been your key to survival over all these years? I'm 68.

Hi all. It has been a while since I've been here. How is everyone doing?
I still have not made it back to 6 month check-ups. Can't get past the year mark. I had a surgery in November for a small tumor. So it's back to square 1 again.
All most 15 years of this stuff is getting old!
