I received my 6th and final BCG treatment on June 6. Within 48 hours, I was in incredible pain in certain joints. I couldn't move my head, neck was so stiff and painful. Left knee swelled up and I wasn't able to walk without being in incredible pain. Arthritis in my left hand flared up so bad I can't grip anything and I'm left handed. I've never experienced pain like this. This continued for weeks. All the tests doctors ran for joint inflammation came back normal or negative. My urologist said she had never heard of a side effect like this. Right now, the incredible pain has subsided, but I still can't grip anything with my left hand, my left knee is swollen, but I can limp around and my neck is still very stiff and I still can't move my head, but I'm managing. I'm starting PT for the neck this week. And have an appointment with a Arthritis and Rheumatism doctor later this month. Not sure if these will help, but I have to do something. This has to be related to the BCG treatments. Has anyone ever experienced this?
