Incredible news! Just back from doctor:
My dad who was diagnosed with T1 cancer in February HAS BEEN CURED!
Pathology from 2nd TURBT shows no malignant cells. Muscle samples are clean and show no malignant cells. Bladder neck samples show no malignant cells.
I knew my dad would beat the cancer! He's the strongest man I know.
Thanks so much everyone for answering my questions and being so supportive! I'm so happy!
Now what the doctor said we should do next is a cystoscopy after 3 months to see if it hasn't come back. Until then we can do anything we want and there are no restrictions.
I'll be lurking around in the forum and helping others every now and then. Feel free to ask me any questions. I spent over a month researching all possible information I could find about non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer.
