This is my first post, I hope it's in the correct place.
I was diagnosed with TCC a year and a half ago and had TURBT.
Since then I was under periodic cystoscopies and today I found out that it returned and I have to go through TURBT again.
The time after the surgery was very tough for me (because of the pain urinating) and I'm very frustrated as I tried understanding what is the causes for bladder cancer and whether I can prevent it from recur and it seems that nobody really knows.
I'm 31 male, never smoked, not exposed to chemicals and not drinking alcohol.
I will be happy to hear your thoughts on mentally preparing to the TURBT, any tips on how to reduce pain afterwards and mostly hear what helps you deal with the realization that this is probably chronic disease and treatments are going to be there from now on.
