So glad your scope came back fine! Yes, they are quite painful. I've found if you take Pyridium it helps with the pain, some. Mostly time will heal.

My scope came back ok. However, starting in January, I will receive 3 weekly treatments every 6 months for 3 years. And get scoped every 3 months. Not exactly what I was wanting to hear. I was hoping treatments would be over. But I know she's being really aggressive with me since she feels I am young to have this. And I can appreciate her for that.

My scope came back clear. Dr said im just one of those people that have blood in my urine. Found out I do have a cyst in my kidney , but said that was normal. The scope itself omg horrible. I have so much respect for all you ladies that have to have those on a regular basis. Mine hurt so bad, and even still sore for a few days after.Dr did say that he'd like me rechecked in 2 yrs or sooner if I start seeing blood.

Hey Melissa!

Been meaning to email you for several days now to see how your husband was doing. So sorry he's having such a rough time, but those treatments are cumulative and after a while they become unbearable. I'll be praying that his test comes out ok and that the cancer hasn't spread.

And OMG for you! Surely you've just got a UTI and it's not bladder cancer too. I'll be praying for you too.

I go back Dec 4th to get scoped again and see where we're going from there as far as additional treatments.

Been thinking about you lately Cindy.. Praying all is going good for you. My husband is on his maintenance treatments now. They've been kinda hard on him but hes getting threw them. He is scheduled to have an IVP test on Monday due to pain in his lower back and left kidney. Urologist suspects the cancer has moved else where.

I have now been sent to a urologist myself due to microscopic blood in my urine. Tested yesterday for infection, came back negative. Did abdominal scan and now next Friday I go in for a scope. Cant see it being anything, surely this disease wouldn't strike us both..
