Gina... I am soooo sorry to hear this news. That must have been very shocking and frightening to see those growths on the screen. And, I know you don't want to appear too scared in front of your family, but we understand completely the fear and anxiety that comes along with this disease.
Your doctor is right... you have to get those nasty little hitchhikers out of there and biopsied so you know exactly what you are dealing with. I'm sure waiting for that to happen will be almost unbearable, so it is a good thing you have your family to keep you busy much of the time.
You can always bring any bad scary thoughts here. Nothing is off limits and many of us have had those same kind of bad thoughts running around in our heads at different points along the way in our own bc experiences.
