Sara anne , Sorry about your uti and having to wait to get your cysto. that has to be frustrating but at least the meds will kill the little buggers !

I agree with Mike, when I first saw your post I was scared to death to read it.
I know its not good, but MAN am I glad to hear thats all that was wrong.

Sorry you are having trouble. That sucks!
Hope the Keflex works without incident. Macrobid usually works great for UTI.

OK. Nothing exciting to report. They prescribed Macrobid on Friday. I NEVER, as a matter of policy, have a bad reaction to a drug. I know people who read the patient package insert and proceed to have every side effect on the list!! Well,, I know better now!!! Started on Sunday. Called the doc's office Monday. Had to wait until the diarrhea/nausea cleared up enough so I could go to the pharmacy and pick up the replacemet...keflex. Have about three more days on it.

No big deal, just $#%!@$ inconvenient!!

Sara Anne, So sorry for the delay, hopefully the time goes quickly and we hear very soon, "all clear".
I am in my first 12 month cycle, and seems scary waiting that long!
It has always been routine to have urine tests before cysto.
