So, I have just been through a 6 month ordeal trying to find out what has been going wrong with me! History: I had 6 BCG treatments for T1G3 bladder cancer in 2006, and a low grade recurrence fulgerated out in 2009.
So, after the BCG treatments I started having weird stuff go wrong, I initially never associated these weird health events with the BCG immunotherapy treatments, I was so petrified of metastatic bladder cancer..
About 4 months after my BCG treatments ended I had weird nerve pain in my ankle, felt like a small patch of skin was on fire. I had x-rays taken at my GPs office, no cancer apparent, put it in the back of my mind, life goes on.
About 7-8 months after my BCG treatments ended, I get up in the middle of the night and try and clear my throat, my tonsil basically explodes (see attached picture), ENT doc had never seen one as bad. Checked for cancer, no cancer, no bacteria found either... put this out of my mind.. Emergency tonsilectomy life goes on.. {Tonsils are part of the lymphatic system BTW]
