Friday 13th found 8" of new snow on the ground, and cold. This was not a welcome event, and on a day for my long awaited follow-up Cystoscopy. I wasn't going to miss that for anything. So allowed extra time to drive to the DR. office. Typical scenario, running way behind on appointments. (I like to be there FIRST, in & out.)
Finally, here we go with the first wide awake Cysto. For watching videos, I even brought in a bag of Popcorn! HA. Yikes, that looks like a huge piece of equipment. But the insertion was no worse than the BCG's. The monitor view was boring, glad he knew what to look for. You do feel the device moving around in there, and they squirt in some liquid to help with the viewing. You'll pee afterwards. OK, you're done. And the best two words I hope to hear all year. ALL CLEAR!!
What an amazing feeling for a disease filled with anxiety, apprehension and fear. But I'm still a newbie at this, and will require a 3 month follow-up session. Now I'm ready to move forward on some other issues, and really count those days till BEACH TIME! Thanks to all of you who followed me here, your support and concern were welcomed. RB
