Congrats on the check up! The cysto always sounds bad and the idea of it... Glad to hear that it went well for your first time being awake.

Congratulations! That is wonderful news and I know such a relief for you. Your three-year mark is very encouraging to me. This month marks my 1 year anniversary of finding my tumor. I've now had 3 followup cystos, all good, but each time I am a bundle of nerves. At the last one, my blood pressure was finally somewhere near normal in the doctors office, so I guess I'm getting used to it. No pain, just self-imposed mental stress!

Definitely a reason for a special celebration!!!

Best wishes... Catherine

I had my cysto on Friday and all is good, no signs of a tumor anywhere. Thanks to everyone here for their encouragement and responses last week, I really appreciate it very much. My first cysto without being asleep wasn't as bad as I expected and everyone here helped with that last week. It was 3 years ago today they found the tumor and I started this journey, so glad I found this site, it has given me such peace to read about everyone's journey too. I will get my next checkup in July. Thanks again everyone.
