That's great news, Brenda, and just in time to make it a more joyous holiday season. I was at Vanderbilt on 11/22 for my 3rd cystoscopy with Dr. Cookson and got an all clear also.

I am optimistic that 2011 will be a great cancer-free year! And like the ending of the "Happy Birthday" song... and mannny moooore! (insert jazz hands here!) :laugh:

I was dx one year ago with Ta and CIS. After 4 TURB's and 2 rounds of BCG. I failed the 1st round of BCG. Dr. Joseph Smith at Vanderbilt gave me two options at that time, more BCG or remove the bladder. I chose another round of BCG plus Interferon. Dr. Smith called me Monday before Thanksgiving to give me the good news--All Clear!!!I will start the maintance BCG after the holidays and stay on top of this with Dr. Smith's help.

I am grateful for all the help and support I have received from everyone.
