Kimberly,

If you type in the results, we can tell you the number.
What you're looking for muscularis propia present (and any indication of invasion or not) and lamina propia present (and any indication of invasion into that). Present means there is sample that they can check.

Hi everyone--
I just received the pathology report from JHU (2nd opinion on my slides). They, too, referred to my tumor as "high grade" without giving it a number. There are some slight discrepancies from my hospital's report and JHU's. JHU shows signs of CIS in the tumor whereas my hospital's didn't, and there is mention of CIS in von Brunn' nests in the sample taken from the follow-up TURBT (again, in the JHU version).

Why do you think they aren't they using a number to grade my tumor?

Tomorrow is my follow-up visit with my uro (NOT the NP!). I will have a stack o' questions for him.
