I did not know this fact about triglycerides.  I was wondering why even though my overall cholesterol was down this year (which I attribute to garlic use) my triglycerides went up a little.  

It is really interesting to hear the individual differences of reactions to BCG treatments.

I was told the same thing about Statins also told the BCG pushed the triglycerides up high mine went to 800 when of BCG came down to 200

Thanks Rosemary, this is very helpful. I am having my husband check in with his Urologist and Cardiologist on this immediately. He has been on statins for several years and is in his first year of BCG therapy. So far so good but no need to reduce efficacy of treatment. Just need to make sure we do not hurt his cardio if he stops meds. He has really high cholesterol without it and is doing everything right in diet and exercise but cannot get it lower due to his own body making the cholesterol. Like your new picture, very pretty. In my humble opinion, this is ONE MORE GOOD REASON to take garlic supplements...

Garlic is known to reduce cholesterol!
