I agree that bummer is a good term, but it still doesn't adequately reflect the disappointment we feel when we get the bad news from a cysto. I experienced the same bad news back in August. Had the TURBT, six weeks of BCG and last week had another TURBT only to find a new growth and a small red area from the previous surgery. I will get the results from the biopsy tommorrow  Even with all this, I feel lucky that so far my BC has only been non-invasive. "Drosenberg", keep the faith. As well you know, you have friends here that provide support and an area to vent your frustration. This is a "BUMMER" of a disease. Chuck :)

Bummer is the perfect word for this cancer and the fact that we will always await the news of a new cysto.

The good news is that we know and can be on top of things. I think of how lucky I am that we found this by mistake when looking for something else. Imagine all the people who don't find out until it is pretty far gone.

That is what keeps me positive when I am having trouble dealing.

I'm sorry for your news and hope that your procedures go well. Be thankful that you know and can do something.

Pardon me, while I seek some shoulders to cry on. I had my regularly scheduled cysto yesterday, and, after nearly two years clear, I apparently have two new tumors. I'll be scheduled for TURB probably early next week and can only hope that the biopsy will determine the tumors to be of the superficial variety. I guess I'm feeling sorry for myself, but it's comforting to know that you folks are here to lend a little moral support.
