only mentioned bending at the knees as that does not use the abs...bending from the waist does.
I forgot more than once especially when my baby grandson at the time reached his arms up to be picked up and the natural instinct was to pick him up.....doh....that definately puts me in the stupid category.
Please forgive me..i'm a bit overprotective at times :S

:) Trust me guys and Pat, I am not stupid... I was just talking about leaning over to pick up a tissue. I've not done anything more strenuous than walk outdoors for about 15-20 minutes and even that I kept a very slow or comfortable pace. I did find that a couple of surprise sneezes today did not make me feel too comfy.

One caveat I should have added. I was 6-8 months in before I started doing any significant lifting to help clear blockages.

Mike right, you really don't want to do too much right away.

....actually, I'm not sure I even did those things though....so just be careful anyway after surgery.

I am poster boy for what can happen if you bend over too much or exceed lifting limits. You don't want follow up surgery!
