Well I've been here for a while, but my thread got to long
, so it was locked.
62-yo, Bladder Cancer (5/1/09), tumor removed (5/4/09), and came back as a "T1 high grade". Will have my 3rd BCG treatment this Friday, with 18-more to go.
Now with 40-years in the Nuclear industry, and 10-years w/a volunteer Rescue Squad, I have ALWAYS been trained to "Pray for the Best, and Plan for the Worst". "You do not wait for your house to catch fire, before you build a Fire-Station and purchase a Fire Truck".
Soooooo, a few questions, please:
1. With much research, I still do not understand "High-Grade" cancer (as in T1 high grade)?
2. Living in Central Virginia, what hostipal would you consider for Bladder Removal? (Melodie, through her web-site, has about convinced me to go with the Indiana Pouch) UVA is not my first choice!
Something DEEP inside me, says in time, I'll face the removal of my bladder, so I want to be PREPARED!
