Well, I hate to break a perfect score, but I had my first followup cysto today and they found a 'small' tumor - so TURB-T in my near future as well as kidney stone crushing. Doc thinks this does not look like the aggressive tumors (TaG3) that he removed last August. Had a round of BCG after infections finally cleared up and this was the first cysto since then.

Hello All,

I hate to admit this, but I've had so much going on that I forgot my cysto appointment in December!!! So, I am right now at the 3 year recurrence free mark, and I have an appointment on January 21. So, please cross your fingers for me....

The arthritis gets me really down sometimes and makes me feel very old in life, but I don't really blame the BCG so much anymore. It would have come on me eventually, but perhaps not so fiercely.

Started a new job after Christmas, making more money, but it's more stressful, so I hope that stress doesn't bring on the cancer. Sometimes I wonder....

I'll report back on the 21st....

Your Bud,
Ro

I want to say congratulations to everyone in this thread who has had clear cystos. Unfortunately, we still have the BCG!!

I am now at my 2 year clear-of-cancer anniversary. Still do the BCG maintenance and have been on cipro due to prostatitis (due to BCG). My next BCG is at the end of this month, but I would rather have that than the recurrence.

Good luck to everyone.

Ross

Wishing you all the best. My Bladder has inflammed areas all the time from the BCG, my Uro always takes a biospy too. Always has been good news and so will yours be.
