I can only tell you what my Uro said. 3-4 days after each treatment it is perfectly safe for females to have sex. I must admit, during the first 6 BCG I was afraid and did not. I guess the best advice would be to ask your Uro. You won't be the first to ask and I am sure not the last!

Hi...i'm going to refer you to web/cafes BCG page and there is Dr. Lamms email...he's very good at answering questions very quickly. I have found tons of stuff on men using condoms for 48 hrs after BCG instillation and also for the duration of the treatment...nothing on the women but i suspect since we cannot wear a condom and if there would be any leakage.....ouch.

A Question on BCG was created by Cynthia
This question was given to me by a lady getting ready to start BCG at the end of the week.

I've been trying to find out information about intercourse during BCG treatments. A lot is geared to men, e.g., wear a condom. I also saw that you should wait for a week after a treatment. If you have 6 weeks of treatment, does this mean no intercourse for 7 weeks? Thanks!
