Hi Clara,
Glad to hear that things are going relatively well and send my best wishes that the radiation treatments are a walk in the park.

Bob and I saw the radiologist today. Dr. Evans said that she thinks Bob needs 10 treatments to his lower back and also to the R rib that had started bothering him.
He will be prepped on Tuesday for the treatments.

We also saw the before and after radiation CT scans of the tumor in the bladder. It appeared to have shrunk it quite a bit which was good news for us.
She also said that she and the oncologist talked and there are only a couple of very small new places and the cancer Bob has does not seem to be growing fast now.
We took this to be good news also.

Everybody hang in there and enjoy every day.

Just want to let you know I'm thinking of you and your husband, and hope the scan is results are friendly. What is he using for pain control?

Bob had another PET scan yesterday and we will hear the results next Monday, Aug 27th.
He continued to have more and new pain after radiation (on areas that were not radiated) and we had to change meds several times to get it under control. Still has some breakthrough pain but at least it is not a number 6 now.

We need lots of prayers as we wait to hear the verdict.

This is a great website to be able to know what others are going through and share our experiences.

Prayers and love to all of you.
Clara
