Ert,

Sorry to hear that your father's cancer has spread.

The two immunotherapy drugs, also named "Yervoy" and "Opdivio" are among the number of newest type of treatment being evaluated and used for bladder cancer.

These types of newer drugs can produce amazing results, along with varied and very serious side effects. The doctors monitor patients closely when these newer drugs are used. The best information on how your father will respond to these can only come from his care team. Wishing him well in the ongoing battle.

Best,
Jack

Hi ,

My father have bladder cancer, already radical cystectomy have done 2 years ago. My father tried neo adjuvant chemotherapy last year. Everything was clear but it came back bladder cancer spread over near lymph now. Metastatic bladder cancer in lymph nodes .

Our doctor suggest us nivolumab and ipilimumab. My father started to take both of nivolumab and ipilimumab one month ago.

Do you have any experience or idea about nivolumab and ipilimumab usage and side effects ?
Please let me know what your thoughts and suggestions

Thank you so much
