Thanks for posting again. And thanks for the 5 year notice! We are pleased to know that we can add "cured" to your chart :)
Your milestone is to be celebrated and I am sure that Mike is celebrating as we speak. "Doin the happy dance"

We need to look back and see how far we've come. And look forward to living our normal lives again. Mike was an inspiration to a lot of us..... And to those that didn't know his posts..... A loss.

Now......... Go out there and live your life! But don't forget to check in once in a while. We need your input.

Hi Catherine...Thank you for your response...and thank you as well Sara.Anne!!

Gals like you two are amazing troopers. I have often thought of the many differences that shape both women and men and can't imagine how tough it must truly be when a lady is afflicted by this nastiness. If I could only wave a magic wand I would tap you both with it and make all you've been through and still going through..go away!!!
I only have to feel sorry for myself for a second than instantly become humbled by what ladies like you two have to go through, than it settles me real quick.

I have received so much from all you good people...and feel like I have given so little in return.

I am still quite effected by Mike passing and you are correct there are so many here that have offered help and heartfelt hard suggestions but man oh man...our Mikey Boy was quite the informed lad.

Thank you both for your tears.....admittedly that was what I was all about last night when reading of MMC'S passing.

My greatest lesson learned here vibrates through my entire being and that is for anyone reading this to learn to become there own advocate. GKline (George)( and Mike drilled that into my ever thickening pumpkin head..lol

Lots of Love to you all and as the song goes....
Don't Go Changin!!!

So glad to hear your good news....this is a cause for celebration.

About Mike, yes, Ed. That was...and is...a blow to all of us. And, like Catherine, I started to cry again.

Right up until the end Mike was fighting for all with bladder cancer. He had agreed to serve on the Board of this Society, the American Bladder Cancer Society, and just a few weeks before he left us he was contributing his IT experience at an online board meeting.

Mike is a hard act to follow, but I would hope that many of us will take him as a role model and step in to help others just as he did.
