I can not tell you how saddened I am by your news. I am sure that your days are bitter sweet at this time. I hope that you find hospice to be as great a comfort as my family has. Please know we are here for you and your family today and tomorrow and that you are in my heart and mind.

Chemo was not effective. We decided to not prolong her agony and we are now in hospice. Fortunately, we were able to enjoy Thanksgiving and Christmas with our son, daughter-in-law and two year old grand daughter, but it is hard--as you all know--saying goodbye to someone after 42 years.
