For those who wanted there name on a card, I made arrangements for a Mass to be said at Susans church, along with a palm, which will remain in the church.
The card is signed by all those who took part in my post. Thanks, Ginger

I didn't know Susan all that well but I followed her posts and she seemed to be a loving and honest woman. Never a bad thing to say she was always focused positive and fought as a true warrior. I like to take this time to offer my condolences to her and also her family for their lost of Susan. She will be deeply missed here at the forum but her spirit will shine with God in heaven above. God bless , Joe

I wanted to provide the proper link to donate to the Bladder Cancer Web Café.

blcwebcafe.org/content/view/178/189/lang,english/

For clarification as someone asked me yesterday the Web Café and the American Bladder Cancer Society are not connected in a formal way. We link to each other and respect the work the other does but we are two totally separate entities. The BLC Web Café will remain under the direction of Joris and Wendy and will continue the work they are doing there, while the ABLCS is under the direction of our board of directors and has its own mission.

I am sure that as Susan was a part of the forum primarily when it was under the BLC Web Café that her intention was that donations be made to them at the above link.

By the way I was reading the guest book linked to Susan’s obituary and there is no way the family can not know how loved and respected Susan was by her forum family, I am sure that it will bring them comfort.

I am saddened to learn, after my long break from the forum, that Susan has left us. And to think, I just learned that we are both RPI alums - me undergraduate, her doctoral. She was so strong and inspirational.

Somehow I missed the first announcement of Susan's obituary. Thanks for reposting it, Karen. I just read the obituary and signed the guest book. I urge all of you who knew Susan from this forum to go and sign your name. Julie
