At my most recent appointment at MD Anderson, the doctor and I discussed
treating me with Ifosfamide. I have read the drug websites, but I am
wondering if any of you have had treatment with this chemotherapy agent.
If so, was it given in combination with other agents? What was the dosing
schedule? How did you do in terms of side effects? Were there hospitalizations
for side effects? Did the chemotherapy shrink you tumor(s)?
Thanks for any perspectives. You'll note that Ifosfamide is listed in the webcafe's
file on metastatic cancer. My cancer is stage 4 with liver and lung mets, but I'm feeling quite well and my general health is considered good.
