It is not unusual for someone who notices a small amount of visible blood in their urine, liquid or a clot, ONE time only, and then gives a urine sample with no visible or microscopic blood, to be told "come back if it happens again". About 99.5% blood in urine cases are NOT due to bladder cancer, The odds are in your favor.
Although, many of us here would have liked to had a full work-up earlier than we did. Waiting does not give us comfort.
