Thanks, Sara Anne, for the support. I hope it's just dehydration. Know that lately I've mentioned to Jim that he needs to be sure to drink as much as he can but you know how it goes. His creat is 1.4 and his gfr is 53 so just up and under the ok levels. He's been fluctuating every other test one being ok the next being abnormal. Maybe time to get it checked out. It is always something with BC that's for sure. Hope this finds you doing well.

Carla, sorry to hear that you and Jim are going through another bump in the road.
As I mentioned in another post today, we DO have to remember that we have other organs than the bladder!!! The abnormal creatinine levels could very well be due to dehydration (and those of us with bladder cancer in the past tend to hold back on liquids to avoid having to "go" every ten minuies.) Or something completely unrelated to bladder cancer.

Be thinking of you

wondering if anyone else ahs dealt with elevated and lowered eGFR and creat results. Jim's have been up and down every other quarterly testing for the past 1.5 yrs but this time around the onco decided he wants to have Jim come back next month and be sure to be very well hydrated before the test. He wants to eliminate that as a possibility. Has anyone else ever dealt with this issue? As I say, BC the cancer that just keeps on giving heartburn and fear!
