Bob,

I asked a similar question with some more detailed questions along with it a couple of years ago when I had a recurrence which meant I would need a cystectomy.

Here is a link to that question and you can read the responses of everyone who replied at that time.

To neo or not to neo, that is my question

As for me, I do not regret getting a neobladder. Personally, I've had some complications but it would not change my decision.

Bob, With such an open question and not knowing where you are in your journey all i can tell you is I am nearly one and a half years out from my neo surgery. We all regret having to have the surgery to start with, but I have no regret that i chose the neo. In fact to look back now it is frighting to think i could have made the decision to have something else. Something could happen tomorrow to change all of this, but at this point I am happy. That is not to say other have not had problems. Any question you have here someone will try to help. Ask away!
Wishing you the best. Duke

Any regrets going with neobladder? What would you have done differently?
