Mike,
The ride into the clinic was stressful, I didn't know what to expect. The nurse who did this was very good at making you feel comfortable. Then the needle, it wasn't bad at all, not like one would expect. I would say 10 minutes later it was in full bloom, then deflated by the time we left. I did not have nerve sparing. It couldn't be done with the digging they had to do. My only chance was this shot. We ordered our supply from the Clinics pharmacy, they don't even carry it around here at local drug stores. And your right its on back order alot of the time. We deal just with the Clinic for the medication. I will be glad to see ups on Thursday,,,what the Brown can do for you...(ups)!!! Gene

Great to hear it worked! It really performs as advertised. I haven't retried it yet as the pills get me close enough. Was it hard to make that first stick? It is funny that it is back ordered in all my local Pharmacys...I guess a lot of people are trying it.

good luck Gene, I'm sure it will work.

In my mind, since this experience, there is a slight difference between an erection and stimulation/orgasism. Doctors never talk about this, but I believe that the nerve sparing works in 2 ways, one for erection and another for orgasism. I wish I knew more about the interaction.

i guess everyone's experience is different. my doc started me with 5 and although I didn't quite split at the seams itwas the best erection I've had since I was 17. I can easily imagine how it could quickly get out of hand at a higher dose. It wasn't painful for me but it was tight as a drumskin for at least 20 mins. I personally would use it again and have on several occasions. the injection itself was not a bother to me after the first couple. hey, maybe it's a compliment mike. maybe the doctor took a look at yours and figured you could handle 10. and my doc thought we'd best stick with 5! anyway, maybe try it at a smaller dose. other benefits I found personally were increased ability to achieve an erection for a week AFTER I took the caverject. But yours is a good cautionary tale and you'll be glad your ding dong had managed to calm down by the time you reached A&E. I believe the procedure for relieving priapism after four hours is to insert needles down the sides of the penis and draw out the excess blood. ewwww!
