Dear Forum,

Thought I would give a quick update regarding the injections!!

I am still waiting for the supplies to come from the manufacturer, apparently they are out of stock. They will deliver the goods to my pharmacy within 10 days.

I was away recently on a little trip and was hoping to take the injections with me for a try out.... :(

Surely I cannot be the only male in my area that has erectile problems. My pharmacy is located within a medical practice with 6 doctors which serve many patients in the area and they have no stocks. Guess I will just have to be a little more patient for some nooky.

I am digressing a bit now but it is on a similar subject... whilst on my recent trip I had a spot of constipation, probably due to change of food and water. During my long toilet visit waiting patiently for a deposit. (choosing words carefully) :)
I suddenly noticed I was getting an erection....now having been told I was totally impotent and that the nerve sparing techniques could not be performed...this was a bit of a shock.

This has now happened on a couple of occassions when going to the toilet for a number two. The erections only last a few minutes and no time to put it to use :-[
I can only assume that during the pressing process we have with constipation this inturn allowed blood into my penis.

Am I the only one with this anomaly or have any of you fellow RC guys had the same experience?

Kind Regards
Leigh

Hey Leigh,
While my nerve sparing was successful, I did have one shot and it was no big deal. If I had to have shots, I would do them, without hesitation.

You have received great advice from others here. Here's one other thought.

There is another site (specifically for sex-related issues) that I monitor (because it took about a year for me to regain potency after my RC), it is primarily related to guys with prostate cancer but they have all the same issues as us bladder cancer dudes. Below is a sampling of topics from two recent posts. They have LOTS of discussions on shots, bi-mix versus tri-mix, many suggest the use of caverject. You might want to take a look, both men and women participate.

The acronym PCAI stands for Prostate Cancer And Intimacy.
