Incision Care and Scars

Melodie..i put cortaid around my stoma where it was irritated...as for the scar I used a very expensive product called Strivectin ... its supposed to be good for facial wrinkles too...worked better on the scar as i don't seem to have one anymore...wrinkles still there!! Pat

My incision seems to be healing nicely but I would like to know what is best to use when it is sometimes itchy and dry...and what will help to prevent a bad scar. Following surgery, my skin is so very dry...I could just use a moisturizing lotion but I suspect some products work better than others. Suggestions, please. Thanks, Melodie
