My mom, 80, diagnosed with invasive muscle bladder

If I understand correctly she had a turb recently. After that she feels a lot of pain. I also had a turb recently and I am in pain sometimes. If I stand up and do things I am in pain. If I stay in bed, I feel no pain. There are suppositories for pain relief. Ask her doc to give to her some pain killers. There is no need to be in pain. What is the treatment plan for her?

I am so sorry to hear about your mother. There is so little one can say at a time like this. At least you are at a superb place for her to be treated. At Sloan Kettering they should know the very best options for her.

cancer. We are very freaked out but have gotten doctors at Sloane Kettering in NYC. Wondering if there are similar experiences. She is in great pain two and a half weeks after the cystoscopy that discvered it. Doctor scraped out as much tumor as he could. Had a PT scan yesterday. There may be a lymph node involved.
