I have been reading a lot about Lymph nodes and how serious it is if they have cancer cells. When my husband was diagnosed with Invasive bladde cancer a month ago the ultra scan showed 2 slightly swollen lymph nodes, the doctor removed these as well as surrounding lymph nodes.
He had something called a speed biopsy on the operating table (the results were satisfactory) and we are now awaiting a biopsy to show what treatment he will be following post op.
I never got round to asking the doctor what the swollen lymph nodes meant, (actually I didn't ask as I was afraid of the answer I would get and to be honest I just couldn't deal with any more bad news).
Can anyone help me on this?
