I was just noticing all you hobbies. How wonderful that though retired you stay so busy and with so many diverse activities. Love that! I retired last April after 43 yrs in the radiology field as a mammographer and initially a nuclear medicine tech. So, all of this has been a bit of a busman's holiday for me without the holiday part! :) Anyway, Jim is eager once we relocate to get back to his big hobby and passion which is cabinet making...furniture quality. He does beautiful work and he hopes to do it as a part time "cottage industry" type thing. It will keep him occupied plust give him an outlet for his passion with wood! I like to do pen and ink drawing, calligraphy and all sorts of needlework. I hope to get back to some of that once we resettle next month. So, lots to look forward while being ever vigilant for the b**tard cancer and it's insidious come back! We will be dragon slayers again for sure! Take care and stay well!

so glad to hear the rash/blisters are clearing up. It has to be so painful to have them, So great! The best sealer we have found is the Eakins cohesives. They seem to hold better. Like you, Jim has to change every other day maybe like today almost 3 days. It's got to do with being a rare and lovely, "innie". Stay well and hopefully by weeks end the skin is all clear. Again, using the larger area convetec natura flange also has helped Jim a lot.

Easter was good; Rsh and blisters are just about cleared up using your procedure. Did find a stretch line that may cause some leaking, used convatec adhesive andIller and it was terrible and caused Coloplast bag to leak immediately so will scatch that product :-)With your procedure Coloplast lasted 3 days and skin looked 100% better. I have quite a few bags from four companies to eventually try but will not do so until skin is perfect. Coloplast is sending a filler sample and will give that a try --- the stretch line is not big, obviously since it has taken us this long to notice but then again we had some bigger fish to fry. I do think we are definately on the right track; for sure coating skin every time using 2 coats with protective barrier does make difference. Will keep you informed now and then.

Happy Easter to you as well, Herb. It is always such an amazingly joyous day for us!

Do let me know if the methods I suggested have helped. I know having rashes only adds to the irritation of having a stoma...innie or outie type!

Again, Happy Easter to you and your dear wife!
