Hi all, I just wanted to mention my long standing fistula has now been repaired, and 3 walnut size stones removed. My 2nd major bladder surgery was sooooo much easier than having an RC. The surgeons were in there only 3 hours and I was out of the hospital on day six. I had a Foley for almost four weeks but only because the medical folks couldn't get me scheduled in earlier. I did develop a bacterial infection related to the incision which was right over the existing scar, but got the antibiotics in time and recovered quicly.

Anyway, I am now six weeks post op and doing very well. My urine is like yellow gold, so clean and beautiful, unlike any I have seen since prior to my RC, which tells me the doctors did a good job eliminating the fistula and now I should hopefully have no new stones forming. :woohoo: So, I am just celebrating year end blessings and getting this thread out in case someone else comes along and wants to talk to someone who has experince with fistula and stones. HAPPY NEW YEAR to all! Wishing everyone good health in the coming year. Hugs, :woohoo:
