Laproscopic surgery sounds like the way to go for surgery. Now that you are off the pain meds your bowels will probably start to work again. Hope you are back home soon.

Well, Sometimes "stuff" gets in the way. I've had very quiet bowels and a lot of burping with some nausea so they've kept me thus far. I'm walking a lot and things might be starting to resolve themselves.

Pain at the operation site has been bearable, lucky for me since I had nothing for pain for over a day due to nausea. Now, I'm on Tylenol (regular strength) and doing lots of walking and sitting up.
