The blood in the urine could be from a urinary tract infection, and that in most cases is the beginning and the end of it. If you are worried it could be a symptom of something more talk to your doctor about another check possibly once the UTI is cleared up.

I am not a doctor but from what I have read blood in the urine is not abnormal when there is a urinary tract infection. What I was referring to is that a lot of us had one UTI after another with blood in the urine prior to our diagnosis and no one thought to check for blood in the urine once the UTI cleared leading to a delay in diagnosis.

Simple answer yes..Many people with blc are misdiagnosed as having just a urinary track infection because they assume the blood in their urine is from the infection. That is the reason I feel they should always recheck urine if blood was present after the UTI is gone to make sure the blood is also.
