Hi Anne, I hope that the sun is shining where you live and you can go outside and just soak it up and work on getting your strength back. I will be thinking of you. Rocky

Hi, Anne!

YAY you are home! You have really been thru it, haven't you? I'm so proud to know you. You are on the downhill now and hopefully the radiation will be easy and totally effective.

Take good care!
Sandy

Glad your home and dusted Anne. Wow l9 sessions..i had no idea. OK dumb question ... why couldn't they determine from the tumor sample if it was urachal or not? Urachal is a strange bird...maybe it eludes all the docs?
Stay well..positive.....
I doubt i could fight as many battles as you have.
hugs........Pat

Hello everyone!
For those of you who are interested I am now home following my unexpected week in hospital. My final chemo session was only delayed by a week so at least that is all done and dusted now!
I am due to start 19 sessions of radiotherapy on 19th May, or thereabouts, and after that I assume I can start to get my life back on track ...yet again!
My Urologist was talking about a PET scan at some point to see what is going on as we are still not 100% sure whether the breast tumour was a secondary to the urachal tumour. (Highly unlikely but who knows?).
Thank you to all of you who have offered support and words of comfort to me during this difficult time. It is good to know we are all here for each other!
Anne
